Sonographer (Weekend and Night Shifts)

About the role

The Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, obstetric, small parts, and vascular studies, to assist in diagnosis and treatment. They may also help with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages. The role requires ensuring equipment readiness, performing imaging examinations independently, and documenting procedures accurately. The position involves on-call duties, portable exams, and working at various sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment functionality and readiness
• Perform ultrasound examinations and ensure proper documentation
• Conduct studies independently, including on-call and portable exams
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide quality patient care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Sonography program
• Certification as RDMS or equivalent
• CPR certification preferred
• Experience in vascular imaging and at least 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
