About the role
The Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, and vascular studies, to assist in diagnosis and treatment for adult and pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment readiness
- Independently conduct ultrasound exams
- Document procedures accurately
- Perform on-call, portable, or site-specific studies as needed
- Assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages
- Ensure proper equipment function
- Participate in holiday rotation and on-call duties as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate or trade school education
- RDMS or equivalent certification
- Minimum of no experience (entry‑level)
- Preferred: at least 2 years of experience
- Preferred: RDCS or equivalent certification
- Preferred: CPR certification
