About the role
Operate ultrasound equipment to perform scans on internal organs, vessels, fluid accumulations, masses, and fetuses. Record and transfer high-quality images for interpretation, report preliminary findings, measurements, and diagnoses to radiologists or cardiologists.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Technologist with Sonography Designation (R.T.(S)(ARRT)), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) are necessary
- Some certifications required within specified timeframes for new graduates or recent hires
