About the role
We are seeking a Sonographer for a PRN position within the Breast Center. The role involves performing ultrasound imaging, including breast, abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The candidate will ensure equipment readiness, perform exams independently, and document procedures accurately.
Key duties
- Ensure proper equipment function
- Perform ultrasound studies independently
- Assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages
Qualifications
- Associate or Trade School education
- Certification as RDMS or equivalent
- Breast Sonography experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Licenses & certifications: RDMS, CPR, RDCS or equivalent
- Ability to perform on‑call, portable exams, and work at various sites
