Sonographer (PRN)

About the role

We are seeking a Sonographer for a PRN position in the Breast Center, performing ultrasound imaging for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting independent ultrasound examinations, and documenting procedures. Responsibilities may include on‑call, portable exams, and working at various sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies.
• Ensure equipment functionality and proper documentation of procedures.
• Operate independently, including portable and off‑site exams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or trade school preferred.
• Breast sonography experience required.
• Licenses & Certifications: RDMS or equivalent; CPR; RDCS or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience and additional certifications.

Schedule

This role offers a flexible schedule primarily from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with on‑call and portable exam duties as needed. The position is non‑benefits eligible.
