Sonographer (PRN)

About the Role

A PRN Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound) will perform ultrasound imaging for diagnosis and treatment across adult and pediatric patients. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting independent examinations, and accurately documenting procedures. Rotating shifts, on-call duties, and portable or off-site exams may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and ensure proper functioning of ultrasound equipment.
• Perform and document imaging procedures independently.
• Assist with needle procedures and vascular imaging as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree or trade school equivalency in sonography.
• RDMS certification.
• Preferred: less than 2 years of experience in general ultrasound.
• Preferred: CPR and RDCS certification.
• Experience in breast or vascular imaging is a plus.
