Sonographer - PRN

About the Role

This PRN Sonographer role performs ultrasound imaging, including breast sonography, for diagnosis and treatment purposes. The position is based in a Breast Center within an acute care hospital known for excellence and specialized breast health services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment readiness for ultrasound procedures.
• Perform and document ultrasound exams independently.
• Conduct on-call, portable, or site-specific studies as required.

Requirements

• Associate degree or trade school education in sonography.
• RDMS certification or equivalent.
• Experience in breast sonography.

Preferred Qualifications

• Less than two years of experience.
• CPR certification.
• RDCS certification or equivalent.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures and equipment operation.
• Proficiency in documentation and imaging techniques.
• Ability to work independently and perform various imaging procedures.
