About the Role
Per diem Sonographer in Maternal Fetal Medicine, providing diagnostic ultrasound services at multiple clinics.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys
- Assist with procedures such as amniocentesis
- Document findings accurately and generate preliminary reports
- Review studies with physicians
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
- Prepare patients and support their comfort and understanding
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited sonography program or equivalent
- ARDMS certification or eligibility, preferably with OB/GYN or Fetal Echo credentials
- Minimum six months of OB/GYN or MFM ultrasound experience preferred
- CPR certification and continuing education credits are advantageous
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to Fayetteville
