Sonographer - Per Diem
About the role
Anna Jaques Hospital is seeking a Sonographer to join our team of imaging professionals supporting outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients. This is a Per Diem, Days position.
Job duties
Under the direction of the Ultrasound Supervisor and Radiologist, the Technologist performs a variety of high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams and special diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
- Exams performed include abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, vascular, breast, and other small parts evaluations
- Special procedures include fine needle aspirations, breast core biopsies, and wire localization (will train as needed)
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience preferred but will train a new graduate
- RDMS certified or obtained within 6 months of hire
- BLS certification needed

Pay
$46.00 - $68.35 base hourly range. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
