Sonographer - Per Diem

About the Role

Seeking a Per Diem Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a high-risk obstetric setting. The sonographer works independently and collaboratively to provide comprehensive care, including fetal anatomical surveys, assisting with procedures like amniocentesis, and documenting findings accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal ultrasounds, assist with procedures, and document findings
• Review studies with physicians and support diagnostic accuracy
• Ensure patient comfort, obtain consent, and communicate procedures effectively
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with healthcare team and support other locations as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program
• ARDMS certification preferred
• OB/GYN or Fetal Echo certification or eligibility within 12 months
• Minimum six months OB/GYN/MFM ultrasound experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and professionalism
• CPR certification preferred
