Sonographer - Per Diem
About the Role
Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, the Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech performs medical sonograms, exercises professional judgment in performance procedures, and provides safe patient care.

- Provide safe patient care
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 12 months of continuing education or practical experience in ultrasound
- Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or in process of obtaining certification (must be obtained within 1 year)
- Current American Heart Association's BLS/CPR certification on hire or within orientation period
- 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Competent in the use of a computer and computer systems
- Excellent customer service skills
