Sonographer (Nights)

About the role

Seeking a Full-time Sonographer to perform ultrasound imaging for diagnosis and treatment, including abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, and vascular studies. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting imaging procedures independently, and documenting all examinations accurately. Flexibility to perform on-call, portable exams, and work at various sites is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment properly
• Perform imaging exams with attention to quality and accuracy
• Ensure proper documentation of procedures
• Assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages
• Perform studies on-call and at multiple locations as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school
• Certification as RDMS or equivalent
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience and RDCS certification
• Licenses, including CPR, are required
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures and equipment
• Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and flexibility for holiday rotations and on-call duties
