About the role
The Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, to assist in diagnosis and treatment for adult and pediatric patients. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting examinations independently, and documenting procedures accurately. May perform on-call, portable, and site-specific studies as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or Trade School certification
- RDMS or equivalent certification
- Preferred: less than 2 years of experience, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, RDCS or equivalent
Key Duties
- Ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment
- Perform and document ultrasound examinations
- Assist with needle procedures and vascular imaging
- Maintain high-quality imaging standards and patient care
