Sonographer (Nights)
Full-time (Nights) • 10 hour shifts, 4 days per week Monday thru Thursday • 8:30 p.m to 7:00 a.m. • Holiday Rotation Required (2 Per Year - On Call) • Sign-On Bonus $5,000 (for eligible applicants)
About the role
Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Starting as a land gift to the community from the Smith family, Alton Memorial today is a full-service acute care hospital offering inpatient and outpatient services including surgery, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, and ambulance services. The ultrasound department is located within the Radiology department and prides itself on providing quality care close to home.
Responsibilities
- Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment.
- Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures.
- Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
Requirements
- Education: Associate or Trade School equivalent
- Licenses & Certifications: RDMS or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: Less than 2 years
- Licenses & Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, RDCS or equivalent
