What You’ll Do

  • Optimize, book, and execute air charter activity in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create new air charter requests, entering all relevant information into Ascent system for charter mode of transit.
  • Review cargo and freight documentation with service providers to ensure accuracy and relevance to air charter movement.
  • Communicate quote requests to the customer via phone or email, and effectively communicate all timing and cost aspects in quote detail.
  • Communicate requirements to various aircraft providers for booking aircraft for charter activity.
  • Provide precise timing and all other relevant information for a successful air charter.
  • Maintain compliance with Ascent procedures and establish accurate timelines for scheduling trucking and ground handling services.
  • Identify and escalate issues related to air charter activity both internally and externally.
  • Maintain awareness and visualize shipment activity to ensure compliance with all milestone management details and escalation related to customer air charter activity.
  • Read, comprehend, understand, and validate all documents necessary for air charter activity.
  • Utilize various reporting mechanisms to generate documents related to air charter activity.
  • Complete general shipment auditing functions and maintain a basic understanding of required documentation associated with arrangement and auditing of services.
  • Precisely and chronologically document the various events throughout the air charter lifecycle using standardized templates.

What You’ll Bring

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • One year of customer service experience required.
  • Ability to complete a Security Threat Assessment (STA).
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel preferred.
  • Basic geography knowledge preferred, including understanding of US States, Mexican States, and Canadian Provinces – including major cities.
  • Capability to pay attention to detail while multi-tasking.
  • Solid communications skills – both verbal and written.
  • Ability to think and react quickly with a sense of urgency to time-sensitive problem situations.
  • Ability to remain calm during adverse conditions.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
