About the role

The Integrated Product Marketing Specialist is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for driving awareness, adoption, and commercial success of Phoenix Contact’s industrial networking, connectivity, and communications solutions across key application areas, including Transportation, Energy, and Public Safety.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a solutions-first marketing approach for industrial networking and communications technologies (e.g., switches, cellular, wireless connectivity) across Transportation, Energy, and Public Safety.
  • Identify and prioritize target applications and market segments within these ecosystems.
  • Translate product capabilities into clear, application-focused value messaging and customer-centric content.
  • Create and produce digital and visual assets (e.g., graphics, presentations, videos, and campaign materials) using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Develop application-focused materials, including digital content, solution overviews, use cases, and case studies.
  • Own and manage website content, including product pages, solution pages, and landing pages, using CMS (Drupal); apply basic HTML/CSS as needed to ensure accuracy and optimization.
  • Support SEO and digital marketing initiatives through content optimization, campaign landing pages, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email campaigns, lead-nurturing workflows, and marketing automation using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot).
  • Support product positioning and the development of product launch and sales enablement materials, including product briefs, presentations, and brochures.
  • Drive execution of solution launches, campaigns, and go-to-market initiatives aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Identify gaps in marketing content, campaigns, or positioning and proactively develop solutions to address them.
  • Monitor campaign and digital performance metrics and recommend optimizations to improve engagement and outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and Marketing teams to align messaging with application and market needs.
  • Support planning and execution of trade shows and events, including booth coordination, event content, and integrated campaign support.
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Demonstrate initiative by independently driving work forward while incorporating input from stakeholders as needed.
  • Take ownership of responsibilities by following through on commitments and demonstrating accountability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or digital marketing within a B2B environment
  • Ability to translate technical information into clear, concise, customer-focused messaging
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) for content and asset creation
  • Experience with content management systems (preferably Drupal) and website administration
  • Working knowledge of SEO, digital analytics, and campaign performance tracking
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot) preferred
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
  • Familiarity with industrial networking, ethernet switches, cellular routers, and/or wireless communications (Wi-Fi/radio) at a high level preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a self-directed, proactive contributor, identifying needs and executing solutions independently
  • Experience supporting industrial, technical, or application-driven markets (Transportation, Energy, Public Safety preferred)

Essential Job Functions

  • 10–20% travel required.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods (2–4 hours at a time).
  • Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time).
  • Must be able to travel via automobile, train, or plane for up to 10 hours.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
  • Regular and on-time attendance.
  • This is an in-person position unless otherwise specified requiring 5 days in the office. After a probationary period, there may be an opportunity for Hybrid work.
