Solutions Engineer, SLED (South)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Solutions Engineer, SLED (South) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This remote role will partner closely with sales teams to support public sector opportunities across the South region, with a focus on aligning technical solutions to customer needs. The position will lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept efforts while helping advance deals through a complex sales cycle. This is a highly customer-facing role that blends cybersecurity expertise, persuasive communication, and cross-functional collaboration. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales partners to develop effective territory strategies
• Assess customer security architecture needs across multiple environments
• Document sales cycle details with a focus on Sales Engineer responsibilities
• Lead proof of concept and proof of value demonstrations
• Deliver technical presentations to showcase product capabilities
• Ensure seamless order management and product delivery
• Advise customers on new, cost-effective product solutions
• Engage with technical teams to share best practices and experiences

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cybersecurity experience, with a focus on endpoint defense
• Experience in objection handling and competitive analysis
• Strong presentation skills for diverse audiences
• Proven track record selling to mid-size and large organizations
• Ability to provide pre-sales technical support
• Basic understanding of hacking tools and detection methods
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

Pay

$160,000 – $220,000 annually
