Solutions Engineer
About the role
The Solutions Engineer will partner closely with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, acting as the bridge between how homebuilders work today and what becomes possible with Higharc, translating real-world workflows into a compelling, data-driven vision for each prospect.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions with homebuilders to uncover current-state workflows, pain points, and priorities across Design, Sales, Purchasing, and Estimating
- Shape solution strategy in partnership with AEs, guiding prospects toward a future-state vision powered by Higharc
- Lead platform demonstrations that help buyers envision their business running on Higharc
- Build ROI narratives, business cases, and playbacks that quantify impact and align internal stakeholders
- Champion the Challenger sales approach — teaching new perspectives, tailoring for relevance, and taking control of the sales process
- Support post-sale discovery, onboarding, or training for strategic accounts as needed to maintain continuity and sharpen pre-sales narratives
Requirements
You’re a sharp communicator, workflow translator, and platform evangelist. You love diving into customer operations, identifying opportunity gaps, and crafting persuasive, insight-led solutions that move deals forward. You have:
- Industry experience in homebuilding, construction tech, or proptech
- Deep understanding of one or more homebuilding functional areas: Estimating, Design, Sales, Finance, Land, or Purchasing
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging for executives and day-to-day users alike
A plus if you also bring:
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools

Skills
Technical skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Knowledge of industry-standard homebuilding software and tools
