Solutions Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Cook up the solution development process
• Clarify Project Objectives with stakeholders
• Create solutions comparison tables
• Settle on project scope of work
• Estimate project costs and get them approved
• Propose initial project schedules
• Conduct preliminary risk evaluations
• Ensure safety, quality, and operational excellence
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, reliability, cost, quality, and productivity
• Manage engineering projects proactively
• Build collaborative ties across organizations

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Creative and proactive thinking
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
• Familiarity with industrial engineering, technology, and operations
• Solid technical background for manufacturing and packaging
• Commitment to safety and quality culture
• Ability to interface with various internal functions
• Ability to manage pressure and changing priorities
• Understanding of financial metrics like ROI and Total Cost of Ownership
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• 5-7 years in an engineering or technology development environment
• Experience in an industry where product contamination control is crucial (semiconductor, pharma, etc.)
• Experience in technology solution development
• Experience in coordinating projects or small teams
• Experience in the manufacture or use of ultra-high purity materials
