About the role

AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand in the cloud. Our team empowers every customer to grow by providing tailored service, compelling technology, and support. We dive deep to understand each customer's unique challenges, from peak-season scalability to cloud transformation, then craft innovative solutions that accelerate their success. This customer-first approach is how we built the world's most adopted cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure success in building and migrating ecommerce applications, platforms, and services onto AWS — including commerce engines, digital experience layers, fulfillment systems, and data pipelines.
  • As part of the RRCG account management team, formulate and execute a technical strategy aligned to the unique growth and transformation goals of East Coast ecommerce customers.
  • Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS for retail and ecommerce workloads, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for peak-traffic resilience, cost efficiency, and rapid innovation.
  • Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many enablement sessions to transfer knowledge to ecommerce customers considering or already using AWS — covering topics such as GenAI-powered personalization, real-time analytics, and cloud-native commerce architectures.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge across the AWS Solutions Architect community, with a focus on ecommerce and retail patterns.
  • Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, workshops, and reference architectures tailored to the RRCG vertical.
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical stakeholders at East Coast ecommerce companies to enable them to become cloud advocates and accelerate their digital transformation.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, AWS service engineering teams, and support — advocating for ecommerce-specific product needs and roadmap priorities.
