Solutions Architect - Commercial (Professional Services)

About the role

The Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in the Professional Services team within Customer Success. They work closely with commercial customers to implement Chainguard images and help them build secure software using open source software across their organization. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of Chainguard images
• Partner with the account team to understand customer needs and propose solutions
• Maintain and improve the quality of Chainguard images
• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to ensure ongoing support and innovation
• Share best practices and lessons learned across the organization

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing high performance multi-tier applications
• Strong experience in Kubernetes and Containers
• 2+ years of experience in a pre or post-sales customer facing role

Qualifications

• Continuous learner with a strong intellectual drive for excellence
• At least a Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology
• Strong working experience with software development processes, practices, and engineering design concepts

• Ability to communicate technical information in highly technical and non-technical ways
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners

Pay

Up to $165,000 base salary + bonus + equity

Schedule

Up to 15% travel
