Accountabilities The Solution Architect - Professional Services is responsible for understanding customer environments, designing tailored solutions, and supporting successful sales and delivery initiatives. This role serves as a bridge between customer needs, technical capabilities, and business objectives by providing expert guidance, accurate project scopes, and strategic recommendations. Consult with prospective and existing customers to understand business goals, technical challenges, and operational requirements.Recommend appropriate solutions, products, services, and resources that align with customer objectives.Analyze complex customer environments to identify needs and develop accurate Statements of Work (SOWs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs).Support sales opportunities by creating detailed technical scopes, solution documentation, and proposal materials.Research, review, and respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), ensuring solutions and capabilities are clearly communicated.Apply deep knowledge of industry trends, existing technologies, emerging solutions, and customer requirements to deliver effective recommendations.Collaborate with internal teams by providing technical guidance, answering questions, and supporting solution development.Act as a subject matter expert throughout customer engagements and help ensure successful project outcomes.Mentor other solution architecture team members and provide escalation support when needed.Continuously improve solution methodologies, documentation practices, and technical approaches.Perform additional responsibilities as required to support business and customer success. Requirements The ideal candidate is an experienced technology professional with strong consulting skills, technical expertise, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and experience supporting enterprise-level customer engagements. Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience in technology solutions, consulting, architecture, or related fields.Education or equivalent professional knowledge comparable to an undergraduate college or university education.Strong experience designing technology solutions and developing customer-focused recommendations.Proven ability to analyze complex technical environments and define effective solution strategies.Experience creating Statements of Work, Bills of Materials, proposals, and technical documentation.Strong understanding of technology products, services, and evolving industry trends.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, engineering, professional services, and customer teams.Demonstrated mentoring skills and experience supporting the growth of other technical professionals.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
