Nature of Duties

  • Strategy & Thought Leadership
    • Drive go-to-market strategies by collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to define messaging and value propositions.
    • Act as a market sense-maker: assess dynamics and advise leadership on expanded service offerings to ensure future-proof positioning.
    • Disseminate client insights and competitive intelligence to influence the evolution of Sanmina’s solution roadmap.
  • Pipeline & Prospect Development
    • C-Level Engagement: Leverage industry expertise to build and maintain relationships with executive-level decision-makers.
    • Demand Generation: Support pipeline growth through targeted touchpoints, including roundtables, industry conferences, and thought leadership (whitepapers/webinars).
    • Strategic Qualification: Establish a rigorous plan to target, qualify, and prioritize opportunities that align with both financial targets and strategic objectives.
  • Execution & Solutioning
    • End-to-End Ownership: Drive the entire sales process—from initial discovery workshops to final closing.
    • Collaborative Solutioning: Partner with operations and technical teams to distill complex functional requirements into defined, cost-effective service offerings.
    • Proposal Excellence: Oversee the development of RFI/RFP/RFQ responses, ensuring that all customer-facing documents are persuasive and communicate a clear ROI.
    • Implementation Stewardship: Own the client experience by remaining engaged during complex implementations to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Administration & Leadership
    • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene (sales data, forecasting, and budget management) to support corporate visibility.
    • Foster a culture of excellence by sharing best practices across the global sales organization.

    Education and Experience

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Experience: 8+ years of sales experience consistently exceeding quotas (revenue responsibilities of $10M+ preferred).
    • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of high-tech applications, including BTO, CTO, reverse logistics, repair, direct order fulfillment, and engineering services.
    • Industry Savvy: Strong understanding of CM/EMS industry dynamics, Manufacturing, and service provider P&L/pricing models.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and enterprise CRM tools.
    • Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation and "closing" skills; ability to thrive in a high-urgency, matrixed environment.
