About the role
Citi is seeking a Services Solution Sales Senior Manager to lead senior-level client relationships and drive new business growth across a portfolio of North America-headquartered Industrials clients. This role operates within a global business that serves clients across 94 markets in Payments, Liquidity, Trade, and Securities Services.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales origination, pipeline development, and revenue growth across a defined portfolio of Industrials clients, owning end-to-end accountability for new mandates and wallet expansion.
- Advise clients at a senior level on complex cash management, liquidity, trade finance, and working capital solutions, acting as a trusted strategic partner across their global operations.
- Execute portfolio sales strategy in close coordination with global, regional, and country partners to ensure consistent and effective coverage of client needs.
- Lead complex deal processes end-to-end, including RFP responses, client presentations, and solution design, recommending innovative approaches tailored to client objectives.
- Identify and convert cross-sell opportunities to deepen product penetration and grow revenue across the client portfolio.
- Collaborate with Onboarding and Client Executives to ensure newly won mandates are implemented efficiently, driving timely revenue realization and ramp-up.
- Share client insights and market intelligence with Product Management teams to inform and influence future product development priorities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 10 or more years of experience in financial services sales and/or product management
- Demonstrated ability to originate, develop, and close complex deals in cash management, trade finance, liquidity solutions, or related treasury products
- Track record of managing large, multi-national client relationships from both a commercial and product perspective, with direct accountability for revenue outcomes
- Deep knowledge of Payments, Liquidity Solutions, and Trade Finance, with the ability to translate product capabilities into client-relevant solutions
- Ability to synthesize complex technical and solution data into a clear, compelling proposition under tight timelines and competing priorities
- Hightly articulate communicator with the credibility and presence to negotiate and influence at senior levels, both internally and with clients
- Bachelor's or university degree
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline
- Knowledge of the Industrials sector ecosystem, including key sub-sectors, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
- Detail understanding of balance sheet and income statement concepts, enabling commercially grounded client conversations
- Entrepreneurial approach with high energy, strong initiative, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, results-oriented environment
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipeline management disciplines, including origination tracking and win reporting
