Solutions Advisor

About the role

As a Solutions Advisor with Central Steel & Wire, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, making sales calls, and working to establish relationships with customers in a dynamic, quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Build territory/account approach and monitor resources
• Work with different departments to execute account development plans
• Operate within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
• Identify problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assess each using standard procedures, and make sound decisions
• Prioritize concurrent customer demands and provide satisfactory service to all
• Balance concurrent requests for assistance from internal and external customers for customer service issues
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prior sales or industry experience is preferred
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience using AutoCAD
• Excellent professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment

Pay

$31.68 - $39.60 per hour. A starting salary higher than $39.60 per hour is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements.
