About the role

We are seeking a Solution Engineer to drive customer success and close large deals by solving complex technical challenges. Working directly with sales teams and channel partners, this role combines technical expertise with business acumen to understand customer needs, provide compelling demonstrations, and support enterprise Proof of Concepts. The ideal candidate will be passionate about reinventing the database space and comfortable engaging with both executive and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors
• Work hands-on with prospects to demonstrate value throughout the sales cycle
• Maintain deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams
• Support enterprise Proof of Concepts from design to implementation

Requirements

• Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences
• Extensive experience with Database and Data Warehouse technology
• Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics
• Python programming experience
• Understanding of AI/ML principles and best practices
• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent experience

Pay

This role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's commission plan with expected on-target earnings of $184,000 - $241,500 (base salary + commission/quota). The estimated base salary range is $138,000 - $181,125. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s equity plan.
