Solution Architect (B2B Commerce)
Job Responsibilities
- Designs a solution to leverage Salesforce product, features, and best practices extended with custom components to meet customer needs.
- Delivers technical and non-technical documentation for assigned projects, with relevant architecture diagrams (data models, high-level architecture, integration architecture, etc.).
- Oversees reporting/dashboard creation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Manages Salesforce.com administration/configuration/data migration duties as needed.
- Provides technical guidance to the development of Salesforce.com and other SaaS applications to support business and product strategies.
- Facilitates discovery sessions to understand client processes and challenges and translates findings into technical requirements supported by a documented solution design.
- Communicates effectively with project and client team members to build a trusted partnership.
Required Experience/Skills
- 4-6 years of advanced skills in Salesforce Platform and exposure to Project Scoping.
- 2+ years experience in a Senior Consultant (or equivalent seniority).
- Strong competencies around the core Salesforce.com platform, B2B Commerce preferred.
- Active Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, and Service Cloud Consultant Certification required, minimum 4x certified preferred.
- Additional Salesforce.com cloud knowledge specific to industry/verticals (Nonprofit Cloud, Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, CPQ, Field Service, etc.) preferred.
- Previous experience with software development life cycle (SLDC), Agile or Hybrid preferred.
- Knowledge of creating entity relationship and object relationship diagrams to demonstrate design concepts and tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience being client-facing and/or acting as an internal project leader and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to develop practical solutions and methodologies on the Salesforce platform.
- Full-time permanent US work authorization.
Preferred Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrates a basic level of knowledge of common enterprise systems CRM or ERP.
- Travel, as required by client or project milestones.
