Responsibilities
- Lead Customer Proof of Value (POV) Engagements
- Plan success criteria, execute hands-on technical validation (deploy/configure, integrate, troubleshoot) of AI Security use cases
- Run stakeholder readouts, and drive the POV to a clear outcome and next steps
- Deliver Compelling Product Demonstrations
- Tailor demos to the customer’s AI Security, data classification, and DLP use cases and personas
- Showcase core workflows and differentiators, handle technical Q&A live, and align next steps based on outcomes
- Technical Leadership and Expertise
- Act as the primary technical advisor and expert in Cyera AI Security for the sales team, customers, and prospects
- Provide in-depth technical knowledge and insights about how Cyera secures the AI data lifecycle
- Understand and evolve usage of the Cyera platform to enable unprecedented success for customers seeking to secure their AI adoption
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies such as shadow AI and generative AI data leakage, and the competitive landscape
- Solution Architecture and Design
- Work closely with customers to understand their AI adoption plans and data security challenges
- Design customized solutions that align with their goals and drive value realization through platform adoption
- Develop and present technical proposals, solution blueprints, and integration strategies
- Ensure that proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with Cyera’s best practices
- Customer Engagement and Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor
- Gather feedback from customers to improve product offerings and identify new opportunities for innovation
- Provide post-sales support to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction
- Collaboration with Product and Engineering Teams
- Serve as a bridge between the sales team and product/engineering teams
- Communicate customer needs and market demands around AI security and data protection
- Collaborate with product management to influence product roadmaps and prioritize features based on customer feedback
- Participate in product development discussions to ensure alignment with market requirements
- Thought Leadership and Evangelism
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, webinars, and trade shows
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a technical presales role within cybersecurity or data security
- Strong understanding of AI and ML technologies including LLMs, copilots, RAG pipelines, and AI agents, and the emerging security and governance risks they introduce, such as shadow AI, data leakage, and model access control
- Working knowledge of data security fundamentals including data classification, DSPM, DLP, data access governance, and cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks
- Proven track record running technical POVs and demos that translate into technical wins
- Excellent communication skills able to speak credibly to both engineers and executive stakeholders, including CISOs, CDOs, and Chief AI Officers
- Self-starter comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagements and industry events
