Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Troubleshooting: Inspect electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards. Proficiently diagnose and repair issues in solar power systems.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on solar systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Conduct panel swaps, electrical upgrades, and other necessary repairs.
- Job Preparation: Prepare job sites for new solar installations, ensuring all necessary electrical components and systems are in place and meet industry standards.
- Safety Compliance: Prioritize safety at all times, adhering to industry best practices and safety protocols while working at heights and with electrical components. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Customer Communication: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining system functionality, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Journeyman license required
- Experience with solar panel maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and codes
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
