Solar Service Electrician

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Service Electrician to diagnose, repair, and optimize residential solar and storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of existing solar arrays and battery storage systems to identify wiring faults, inverter failures, or performance drops.
• Execute complex electrical repairs and system upgrades.
• Service and commission Tesla Powerwall and Enphase storage solutions.
• Act as a professional face for the company, explaining technical issues to homeowners with clarity and empathy.
• Travel to job sites across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia (Company vehicle/travel perks included).

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of dedicated solar electrical experience.
• Active certifications in Tesla and Enphase battery systems are highly preferred.
• A desire to continue your journey toward a Journeyman/Master license through an Electrician Apprenticeship Program.
• A customer-first attitude with the ability to turn a frustrated homeowner into a happy advocate.
• A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel regionally.
