Software Tester

About the role

Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to detect, track, and document software defects, performance issues, and inconsistencies throughout the mobile software life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and performance test cases for mobile apps and system features
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and feedback to the development team
• Validate firmware, connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G), and hardware interactions
• Conduct manual and automated testing as per defined procedures and quality criteria
• Perform testing throughout all phases of the mobile software life cycle — design, develop, test, release, and maintenance

Qualifications

• Ability to handle multiple testing tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong understanding of mobile Android OS platforms and device ecosystems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Excellent time-management and documentation skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with mobile test tools (e.g., ADB, Jira, TestRail, or similar) is a plus

Experience

Beginner: 0-3 years of experience in mobile software or QA testing.

Pay

$33.00 - $33.00 /hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
