Family Office (https://familyoffice.is) is a brand and software design studio in Lower Manhattan. We’ve built our own product called Terms (https://terms.so), a DocuSign competitor that makes it easier than ever to draft, send, negotiate, and sign contracts with AI. We’re hiring a solo Software Salesperson to sell Terms, with commissions well above typical software sales rates. Terms aims to undercut DocuSign, an incumbent platform with limited AI capabilities. Terms is a beautiful product, built AI-first, and our ambition is to make it the strongest document signing and negotiation platform in the industry. You’ll have the team of a software design firm behind you to build new features as customers request them. We’ll encourage you to compete aggressively on price, product, and any other advantage that helps take business from incumbent software providers. Compensation and the role - $50–80K base salary, based on experience- 25% commission on first-year contract value- 35% commission above quota (quota to be decided together)- Sales-based equity in the company with a bonus in the case of an acquisition We want you to generate lots of revenue, and to be compensated heavily for it. As this is an early-stage, first-salesperson role, we’re looking for a highly driven person to pioneer the product and make plenty of money along the way. This position is remote, but we have an office at 401 Broadway you're welcome to work from. We're also happy to pay for a coworking membership if you'd like one, ideally somewhere near our offices. To apply We are hiring for this position immediately. Send a note directly to diego@familyoffice.is answering the following questions: - What relationships and experience do you have that make you feel confident that you'd be an excellent salesperson for Terms?- What excellent sales results have you achieved in the past?- What support do you feel helped you achieve those results?- What companies or verticals would you be most interested in selling Terms to? Though we will likely receive many emails about this position, I will respond to each note, even if only to say that it may not be a fit. We'd love to keep in touch either way, as in the future, ideally Terms grows and requires a larger force of bright and hungry salespeople.
