About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive team member with a strong foundation in software testing, system administration, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the development team to create test strategies and customized solutions
  • Help collect and develop test data and technical information used for creating test suites
  • Document test strategies and results as needed
  • Engage with complex and data-heavy test scenarios
  • Manage user permissions and access controls, with hands-on experience using LDAP or Active Directory
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, approaching challenges with creativity and effective solutions
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development environments, contributing to fast-paced, iterative workflows
  • Utilize issue and bug tracking tools such as Jira to report, manage, and resolve software defects
  • Conduct testing of web-based and cloud applications to ensure performance and reliability
  • Write, modify, and maintain comprehensive test cases to support new and existing features
  • Write SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from relational databases
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure client requirements are fully understood and exceeded
  • Research technical issues thoroughly, identify root causes, and propose/implement effective solutions
  • Demonstrate a strong aptitude for quickly learning new technologies and tools
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally
  • Exhibit a passion for solving complex software challenges and enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Experience with creating test plans based on gathered requirements and documenting test results
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Understanding of relational database design
  • Experience working with a government client
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • US Citizenship required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
  • Skills: Active Directory (AD), Agile Methodology, Testing Strategies

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $165,430.

  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
  • Travel Required: Less than 10%
  • Telecommuting Options: Onsite
