About the role

Constellation Technologies seeks a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our dynamic team as a key contributor in the development of web applications and user interfaces. This role requires a deep understanding of various programming languages and frameworks, including Java, Python, embedded C/C++, and Java cryptographic frameworks. Additionally, proficiency in web technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Java frameworks (Spring, J2E) is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications and user interfaces using Java, Python, and embedded C/C++.
  • Work with multiple Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Data, JPA, EJB, JTA, Servlet, and others.
  • Implement and manage databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
  • Design and develop web applications using AngularJS, JSON, HTML, XML, and XSLT.
  • Ensure compliance with federal contract requirements, including maintaining a TS/SCI security clearance and active polygraph.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and adhere to agile methodologies.

Requirements

  • United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • At least four (4) years of direct/relevant experience in software development.
  • Demonstrated experience with multiple Java frameworks and languages such as JavaScript, Python, C/C++, Groovy, and SQL.
  • Experience with development IDEs and software source control tools.
  • Experience with cryptographic systems and software development principles.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with web services and software development on Agile teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience with JEE (EJB, JPA, JTA, JAX-B, JAX-RS, JAX-WS).
  • Familiarity with XML/XSD/SOAP/WSDL/XSLT, REST, JSON, YAML, and containers (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Experience with Javascript frameworks (AngularJS, Bootstrap, JQuery).
  • Experience with testing and mocking frameworks (JUnit, Jupiter, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma, Cucumber, Unified Functional Tester (UFT), Selenium, FITNesse).
  • Experience with build tools (Maven, CMake, RPM, Jenkins, Nexus).
  • Experience with high-level requirements management, secure systems engineering, and development, trade-off analysis, interface control, testing, and continuous integration.
  • Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and secure software development.
  • Experience with Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, and certifications.
