Software Engineer - Level 02 - FULLY CLEARED with POLYGRAPH REQUIRED
About the role
Responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying changes to existing software, supporting cloud-native deployments and DevOps-related activities.
Responsibilities
- Support system operations
- Design, build, test, and deploy changes to existing software
- Implement enhanced infrastructure security protocols
- Automate code integration, testing, and deployment
- Manage containerized applications for seamless scaling
- Collaborate with the infrastructure and platform team to streamline technical processes
- Debug existing software and provide recommendations for improvements
- Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure
- Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
- Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Requirements
- United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Fourteen (14) years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer in Programs and Contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Experience in cloud-native deployments and DevOps-related activities
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency with major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Qualifications
- Familiarity with continuous integration frameworks such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible
Skills
- Experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying changes to existing software
- Knowledge in identifying manual processes that can be automated
- Experience in maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure
- Experience in automating code integration, testing, and deployment to deliver product features to production securely and efficiently
- Experience in provisioning and managing environments using automation tools instead of manual server configurations
- Experience in configuring logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively detect bottlenecks and resolve production issues
- Experience in managing containerized applications to ensure seamless scaling across platforms
- Experience working directly with the infrastructure and platform team to remove workflow barriers and streamline technical processes
- Experience in debugging existing software and correcting defects
- Experience in providing recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards

The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
