Software Engineer - Level 02 - FULLY CLEARED with POLYGRAPH REQUIRED

About the role

Constellation Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer (SWE) with expertise in CI/CD tools, infrastructure tools, container platforms, and cloud experience. This position requires a US citizen with a TS/SCI clearance and active polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud-native deployments and DevOps-related activities
• Design, build, test, and deploy changes to existing software
• Implement enhanced infrastructure security protocols
• Identify and automate manual processes
• Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure
• Automate code integration, testing, and deployment
• Manage containerized applications for seamless scaling
• Collaborate with the infrastructure and platform team to streamline technical processes
• Debug existing software and provide recommendations for improvement

Requirements

• Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Software engineering experience supporting cloud-native deployments and DevOps-related activities
• Experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying changes to existing software
• Knowledge in enhancing infrastructure security protocols
• Experience in identifying and automating manual processes
• Experience in maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure
• Experience in provisioning and managing environments using automation tools
• Experience in configuring logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Experience in managing containerized applications for seamless scaling across platforms
• Experience working directly with the infrastructure and platform team to remove workflow barriers and streamline technical processes
• Experience in debugging existing software and correcting defects
• Experience in providing recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards

Qualifications

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Working knowledge of container platforms like Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
