About The Role We are seeking a talented frontend-focused full-stack engineer to join our governance product team. This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the front-end architecture for Wand's core governance engines, which analyze organizational data to detect policy violations, assess risks, and surface critical insights. Your primary responsibility will be to design and build intuitive, trustworthy interfaces that translate complex, non-deterministic outputs from AI agents into actionable information for human reviewers. You will work closely with AI and backend engineers to develop visualizations and workflows that make organizational structures, relationships, and governance findings clear and navigable. This role requires a strong product and UX sensibility, as well as the technical expertise to handle backend integration and data structures. You will have the autonomy to propose, defend, and implement solutions end-to-end in a fast-paced, remote environment, contributing significantly to our mission of building scalable, AI-driven governance systems. Qualifications Strong proficiency in front-end development, with expertise in TypeScript and modern frameworks.Solid understanding of backend fundamentals, including databases, APIs, and system design.Experience turning complex or ambiguous data into clear, user-friendly interfaces such as dashboards or visualizations.Familiarity with knowledge graphs, organizational structures, or relationship visualizations.Proven track record of owning projects from conception to deployment, with strong architectural decision-making skills.Experience working with AI coding tools like Claude Code or similar, integrating AI into development workflows.Comfortable working across multiple stacks and adapting to different technology environments.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently in a remote, senior-heavy team.Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Own the end-to-end front-end architecture for the governance product, assessing existing systems and implementing improvements.Design and develop interfaces where users review and act on AI-driven insights, including policy violations and compliance risks.Make organizational relationships and knowledge graphs legible and navigable for end-users.Apply product and UX principles to ensure workflows are clear, trustworthy, and efficient.Build and maintain the front-end codebase, primarily using TypeScript, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.Contribute to backend understanding by working with data structures, APIs, and knowledge-graph layers as needed.Propose and defend technical approaches, taking full ownership of features and solutions from start to finish.Collaborate closely with AI and backend engineers to translate agent insights into actionable interfaces.Utilize AI tools like Claude Code to streamline development and enhance productivity.Participate in continuous improvement of the governance system, ensuring it remains robust, transparent, and scalable.
