About the role
The role of Software Engineer (Cyber Range) at Laurel, MD involves developing and supporting software and databases, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform and Ansible. This position requires a fully cleared background with a polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions using IaC technologies
- Write and execute scripts in Bash, PowerShell, Batch, and Python
- Configure and manage virtual environments and networks
- Implement and test cybersecurity tools and operational tools
- Collaborate in agile development environments and DevOps practices
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker
- Conduct penetration testing and red team operations
- Analyze and interpret data using Splunk
- Manage and operate Nutanix environments
Requirements
- US Citizenship
- TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience for Level 03 positions
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Batch, and Python
- Experience with networking and virtualization
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and operational tools
- Network Engineering experience with Arista, Cisco, and Juniper
- Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux, and network traffic analysis
- Experience in a fast-paced environment and working with flexible customer requirements
- Experience operating in an agile development environment and DevOps
- Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Knowledge of penetration testing or red team operations
- Experience utilizing and developing with Splunk
- Experience with Nutanix
Qualifications
- Android development experience
- Familiarity with AI
- Browser automation with Selenium
- Reverse engineering
