About the role

Join a well-funded startup miniaturizing lab-grade technology into real-time industrial sensors. You will build the backend services and platform infrastructure powering trace analysis for critical machinery.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, reliable backend services in Python that handle sensitive industrial diagnostic data.
• Contribute to and improve AWS-based cloud infrastructure to keep systems performant, secure, and maintainable.
• Apply security best practices throughout the development lifecycle to handle sensitive data with extreme care.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python with solid experience building and operating production-grade backend and platform systems.
• PRACTICAL experience with cloud platforms, distributed infrastructure, and designing APIs for complex data environments.
• A security-conscious approach to development and a commitment to five-day in-office collaboration in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware-software integration challenges.
• Knowledge of industrial sensor technologies.
• Understanding of data handling and trace analysis.
