Software Development Engineer, AWS Marketplace & Partnerships

About the role

AWS Partnerships is responsible for external and internal supporting Partner Sales, the APN, and other elements driving the AWS partner ecosystem. The team builds external partner facing public APIs and AWS console applications for co-selling with partners, and develops AI/ML applications to provide recommendations and insights to partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop services that process millions of transactions in a secure environment
• Own significant portions of the product and influence the next wave of product features and system architecture
• Work on complex system software, focusing on the front end user experience, platform services, and system level pieces
• Collaborate with high volume of data and handle highly complex business contexts in real-time
• Build and maintain high-performance, reliable systems in a multi-tiered, distributed environment (Service Oriented Architecture)

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Qualifications

• Experience with asynchronous workflow, big-data, and AWS technologies is a plus

Skills

• Practical experience in building high-performance, reliable systems in a complex, multi-tiered, distributed environment (Service Oriented Architecture)
• Strong and implementation experience
• Strong knowledge of web services and protocols
• In-depth knowledge of systems architectures

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 annually.
