Software Development Engineer, AWS Marketplace

About the role

AWSMP is a curated digital catalog where customers can find, buy, deploy, and manage third-party software, data, and services. This role is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP) team, which owns the go-to-market strategy for technology domains and partner recruitment, development, and growth.

Responsibilities

• Solve challenging scale problems and evolve the service to meet customer needs
• Own significant portions of the product and influence strategy by defining next wave of product features and system architecture
• Work on complex system software and leverage AI tooling and Spec-Driven Development (SDD)
• Be customer-centric and passionate about building quality software and achieving operational excellence
• Enjoy working on all levels of the platform, from robust services to system-level pieces

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Skills

Customer-centric, enjoy working on complex system software, comfortable with AI tooling and SDD, and committed to teamwork, bias for action, and great communication skills.
