About the role

Design and build highly scalable APIs and implement controls that help advertising partners scale
Build robust prediction services and recommendation engines that handle massive throughput under tight latency constraints
Deploy and optimize runtime machine learning models and advanced analytics to automate advertiser marketing strategies and increase sales
Put Amazon's vast data to work — driving advanced analytics and ML algorithms that directly impact customer outcomes
Own end-to-end delivery of customer-facing features — from design through implementation, deployment, and 24x7 operations
Drive technical decisions and contribute to system architecture across the organization

Responsibilities

• Design and build highly scalable APIs and implement controls that help advertising partners scale
• Build robust prediction services and recommendation engines that handle massive throughput under tight latency constraints

• Own end-to-end delivery of customer-facing features — from design through implementation, deployment, and 24x7 operations
• Drive technical decisions and contribute to system architecture across the organization

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Skills

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Pay

$143,700.00 - $194,400.00 USD annually
