Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications critical to the operations of CVS Health
  • Support the Rx Claim Adjudication team in their support of both internal and external clients
  • Develop and implement complex technology solutions
  • Ensure adherence to established methodologies, standards, and guidelines
  • Champion SDLC methodologies and best practices in the team to ensure quality standards are met
  • Estimate, analyze, design, code, write test plans, document results, test, and debug
  • Deliver assignments within specified time frames

Requirements

  • 3+ years of application development experience in AS/400, RPG, RPGLE, COBOL, and CL
  • 3+ years of working experience in an SDLC environment
  • 2+ years of Synon/2e experience

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated successful completion of several medium to large scope projects
  • Demonstrated proficiency working on all phases of SDLC
  • Demonstrated proficiency with problem determination and resolution through research and fact-finding
  • Effective communication skills to facilitate meetings in both technical and business audiences, often across multiple functional areas
  • Experience in PBM Insurance or Healthcare industry desirable
  • Experience with Rx Claim or other PBM system preferred

Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $64,890.00 - $173,040.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
