Location: Torrance, CA • Work Type: Onsite (4 days/week)

Develop and support APIs using IBM DataPower
Build REST APIs and integrations across systems
Implement API security (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS)
Support AWS-based integrations and hybrid environments
Provide production support and troubleshooting
Work with application, security, and infrastructure teams
Manage daily operational tasks and rotate PDCA for continuous improvement
Achieve customer satisfaction for team services provided
Promote teamwork through leadership, collaboration, consensus-building, and accountability
Maintain systems availability within 99%
Complete project support within +/- 95% of cost and schedule
Support major Honda applications across multiple business units and platforms (Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, Warranty, Parts in both On-Prem and Cloud)

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience
2–5 years of designing, developing, and implementing API solutions across various industries
Adept at leveraging cloud technologies and best practices in API management to deliver robust and scalable solutions
Knowledge of cloud computing concepts
Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to drive technical innovation and achieve business objectives
Strong technical knowledge of API-related technologies (DataPower, REST API, ACE IBM Cloud Pak, Kafka) and their administration
Extensive application support experience working with application teams
High-level understanding of IT infrastructure planning and development
Excellent understanding of organizational goals and objectives
In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
Automotive industry IT knowledge is preferred
