We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to help improve the communication experience of Amazon's Selling Partners.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
- Create solutions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
- Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
- Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
- Deliver customer obsessed solutions that solve business problems for both technical and non-technical users within Amazon.
- Leverage AI — both to accelerate your own engineering workflow and to integrate AI-powered capabilities directly into the products and services we deliver.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Skills
- Experience with distributed systems
- Experience with Object Oriented Design
- Experience with C#, C++, Java, or Perl

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 annually.
