Job Description
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer for a Content Platform team. This role serves as the first level of support and development for incoming production software application issues related to merchandising applications. The solutions developed will have a direct impact on customers.
- Develop monitoring solutions for internally developed code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and implement fixes for software application issues.
- Perform SQL queries to analyze and resolve technical challenges.
- Improve systems that gather metrics on software features.
- Collaborate with development teams on corporate and divisional software projects.
- Update and enhance current software applications.
- Automate support processes and document systems.

Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field is required.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
- Proficiency in Perl, C/C++, and/or Java is required.
- Experience with Mason, Perl CGI, or Oracle SQL.
- Knowledge of HTML and UNIX/LINUX environments.
