This position is based in our Norman, OK headquarters and follows a hybrid work model (some days at home and some days in the office).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements through collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of software needs.
  • Participate in the analysis of software requirements and contribute to the creation of detailed documentation, including functional specifications and system design documents.
  • Assist in analyzing and interpreting data to support software design decisions and improve system performance.
  • Provide support to end-users, helping to troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in maintaining comprehensive documentation for software systems, keeping it up-to-date with changes and improvements.
  • Collaborate with team members to effectively communicate technical information and project updates.
  • Support project managers in various tasks, including project planning, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements, striving to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to take on new challenges, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
  • Assist in coding and scripting tasks under the guidance of senior team members, contributing to the development process.
  • Provide application support and consulting to internal and external clients on the proper use of PCI products.
  • Improve the quality and enhance the features of PCI software products by working with the application development team.
  • Perform testing, documentation, and quality assurance for new product features.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in computer science.
  • Basic knowledge of programming and scripting.
  • Knowledge of Java, Python, SQL, and AWS.
  • Individual task and time management skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and logical thinking.
  • Able to take direction and learn from more senior employees.
