SODEXO Dietitian Nutritionist

About the role

Sodexo is seeking a full-time and a part-time Registered Dietitian for inpatient positions with Prairie Lakes Healthcare System, providing care at their 81-bed hospital in Watertown, South Dakota. These roles also offer the opportunity to provide outpatient and oncology care.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients across inpatient units
• Be well-versed in the Nutrition Care Process, Nutrition Focused Physical Exam, and Malnutrition Identification
• Work rotating virtual weekends providing hospital-wide coverage
• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credential
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
• The ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
• A strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND
• For those eligible for the registration exam before 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND
• Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
