About the role
The Department of Sociology at California State University, Fullerton invites applications for a part-time lecturer pool. We seek experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in various Sociology courses.

- Teach Sociology 300: Social Work
- Teach Sociology 305: Social Work Practice
- Teach Sociology 308: Writing for Sociology
- Teach Sociology 325: The American Drug Scene
- Teach Sociology 345: Sociology of Communication
- Teach Sociology 350: Social Relationships and Emotions
- Teach Sociology 353: Sociology of Children & Youth
- Teach Sociology 365: Law and Society
- Teach Sociology 385: Family Violence
- Teach Sociology 410: Theories of Social Behavior
- Teach Sociology 411: Criminology
- Teach Sociology 413: Juvenile Delinquency
- Teach Sociology 415: Mass Incarceration
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Sociology or a related field
- Ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Fostering a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment
- Relevant work experience
- Professional capabilities

Pay and Schedule
Initial appointments are for one semester only. Classification Range: $5,507 - $6,677 per month. Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $6,221 per month.
