PART TIME FACULTY POOL - SOCIOLOGY
This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time (up to 67%), substitute, temporary, or hourly assignments on an as needed basis. Part-Time faculty applications will remain in the pool for one year. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. Departments will refer to the pool of applications on file, as needed, to fill temporary assignments. This recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies.
About the role
Assignments are at the discretion of the District. Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's in sociology OR
- Bachelor's in sociology AND
- Master's in anthropology, any ethnic studies, social work or psychology OR the equivalent.
Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse, academic, socio-economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in teaching at the community college level.

This evaluation must be completed and submitted prior to your application being included into the applicant pool. A copy of this evaluation must be attached to each application package.
